Meet Chef Terry
Terry Anthony is the charismatic and exciting creator, owner, and Executive Head Chef of The Block Bistro and Grill. Terry has been a native of Indianapolis since 1997 and is originally from Louisville, KY. The youngest of 3 boys, Terry attributes his love for food to his early childhood growing up cooking with his Mom. This culinary renaissance man, specializes in comfort food and taking everyday dishes and adding the soul of the urban culture that he grew up on to them. As a graduate of Murray State University with a degree in Business, Terry decided to leave corporate America in 2015 and pursue his love of food. First as a Subway franchisee owner and event caterer, to now as a multi-restaurant owner and television personality. Terry has been the quest chef for the Indiana Pacers, Travel caterer for IndyCar and The Indianapolis 500, and the tailgate Chef for the 2022 College Football National Championship. He has cooked privately for Actress, Singer, and Songwriter Ashanti and corporately for organizations such as Jack and Jill of America and Eli Lily. You can see Terry's passion for food on display on Season 16 of The Great Food Truck Race on the Food Network and weekly on Indianapolis' Fox59 hit show IndyNow.
